Our Appellate Law Practice
If you have an unfavorable final judgment from a trial court and you question whether the judgment was correct in its rulings of law, we will attempt to obtain a better result through the appellate process. We have the unique qualifications and experience required to be effective in appeals, including excellent legal research, writing and oral advocacy skills.
Appellate proceedings differ greatly from trials. Appeals examine the law and whether the law was incorrectly applied. We prepare and submit a comprehensive and persuasive brief, helping the judges to empathize with the merits of your appeal or your defense to an opposing party's appeal. We also regularly appear before the court for oral argument.
